Thomas F. Vasti Jr.

As the founding partner of the predecessors of the law firm of Vasti & Vasti, P.C., Thomas F. Vasti, Jr. has represented, advanced and protected the rights and interests of consumers, property owners, municipalities, as well as accident and malpractice victims throughout all levels of the New York State court system. Tom's experience before the New York State bar encompasses more than forty years of trial practice before numerous juries, establishing him as a seasoned courtroom veteran. Tom began his legal career in Brooklyn, and subsequently relocated to the Hudson Valley when he became licensed as an Insurance and Real Estate Broker throughout the State of New York in 1965. After establishing his residence in Pleasant Valley, Tom served on the Arlington Central School Board between 1964 and 1972. Tom has also held seats within Pleasant Valley's local government as Town Board member, Town Councilman and Town Justice between the years of 1968 through 1975. Tom's real estate experience includes the completion of many private and institutional real estate title closings, representation in the preparation and foreclosure of mortgages, as well as the defense of condemnation and tax certiorari proceedings.

Tom currently makes his home in the Town of Pleasant Valley with his wife, Faith Vasti, a former elementary teacher and Arlington Central School District Board member, who is presently a licensed real estate associate broker. Tom is the father of three children, Tom III - an Attorney, Peter an Attorney & Certified Public Accountant, and Valerie - a Teacher; and is the proud grandfather of Annelise Nicole, Matthew Thomas, Lindsey Marie and Peter Joseph. Tom is a charter member of the Pleasant Valley Chamber of Commerce, and has previously served many years as a volunteer member of the Pleasant Valley Fire Company. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus, The American Legion, and is Communicant of St. Martin De Porres Church.
